Ninotchka Gandulla has been a beverage professional for 12 years. She got her start at Dragonfly, one of restauranteur’s Emilio Figueroa’s establishments in Old San Juan, gaining experience with Chinolatino ingredients and fusions. Later she was mentored by Leslie Cofresi and Roberto Berdecia, pioneers of the craft scene in the island and owners of La Factoria, a 50 Best Bar for the last four years, she later managed one of their high volume wine bars Vino. She moved on to become a Brand Ambassador for Don Q in Houston Texas. Some of her accolades include Absolut Invite 2016 local winner, as well as being in the winning team for Bacardi’s PDCX Barbuild, among other competitions. She has also traveled to Asia, Latin America and Europe to be part of bar takeovers, festivals and other features. She loves to learn and educate on all beverages and gastronomy, as well as traveling and cultures. Currently she is the Spirits Specialist for Lexington Brewing and Distilling Company as well as for Pearse Irish Spirits, spreading the gospel everywhere she goes.
